Implementation Manager

Our growing Land Administration Solutions division is part of Trimble’s global geospatial sector. We are seeking a suitably skilled and experienced Implementation Manager to be based in Westminster, Colorado. Working with our team of project managers, business analysts, software developers, IT professionals and other industry experts, the primary responsibility of this role is role is to ensure successful implementation of our Landfolio® solution within our various client environments. 

Reporting to the Global Director of Professional Services, the successful candidate must be a service driven, confident individual, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role. A willingness to travel and engage with public and private sector clients onsite throughout the Americas and the Caribbean is also important.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with internal and external project managers to define implementation plans, estimate and manage project budget, track billing time, create detailed project plans, provide updates on financial performance, and schedule and assign resources (internal, third-party contractors, and/or consultants).

  • Direct multiple concurrent, full-scale (complex) technology solution implementations remotely for external domestic and international clients

  • Identify resource requirements/needs, resource assignments, coordination of resources, and resource dependencies and constraints

  • Assist in the long range resource planning to ensure successful delivery of current and future implementations

  • Identify and resolve project escalation issues and review potential changes in project scope and advise stakeholders of the impact.

  • Ensure global project delivery standards are upheld

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction

  • Manage annual maintenance, support and subscription agreement negotiations and renewals.

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of Trimble Land Administration hardware and software solution offerings and value propositions.

  • Manage and mentor a small team of project delivery professionals based in Denver, USA and Vancouver, Canada.

Educational Requirements:
Degree or diploma in a Land Administration centric business such as Survey, Geomatics, GIS, Natural Resource Management (e.g. Mining, Forestry, Oil & Gas), or Real Estate


  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role managing the varied aspects of delivering and maintaining enterprise-scale land administration solutions in public and/or private sector

  • A strong background in technical program/project/account management

  • Strong leadership skills and a background in managing project teams

  • A high degree of business acumen

  • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of enterprise GIS, Land Management and IT will be advantageous

  • An understanding of IT Business Solutions including application development methodologies, database and system design, and client/server architectures

  • Experience with Mavenlink software for project management would be an asset
